Graham Wardle explained why he chose to leave the family drama after being part of it for 14 seasons. He sent an email to The Canadian Press saying, “I felt deep down inside that it was time for me to try something new.”
He talked more about his decision to leave the show in a special video posted on Heartland’s official YouTube channel in January 2021. Graham said it wasn’t an easy choice and that he had been thinking about it for a long time.
“I’ve been thinking about it for a few years now, trying to figure out how to respect myself and make this change while still respecting the show. So, it’s been a long journey; the bottom line is that I’m following my heart, and I’m not sure where it will take me, but that’s what life is all about.”
