But when Anderson unexpectedly fell out of the Top 24, fans were taken aback.

Anderson returned to social media in April 2022 with an Instagram statement, following her abrupt exit.
She wrote, “For personal reasons, I am unable to continue on ‘American Idol.'” This has been one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I know it was essential.”
She expressed her appreciation for the chance and everyone who supported her throughout her “Idol” journey.
While Kenedi did not divulge her “personal reasons” for leaving American Idol, the fact that she published a song on TikTok the next day—now deleted—leads many to believe it was because she signed with a record company.

Is Kenedi Anderson Still Pursuing Music?
It’s clear that Kenedi Anderson hasn’t given up on her goal of being a musician because she can be seen performing for her 457,000 TikTok followers.
Fans are enthralled with her numerous interpretations of songs by some of the biggest stars in the industry. In a recent video, she played a piano version of “You’re Not Sorry” by Taylor Swift. In an additional video, she sang out Adele’s “Set Fire To The Rain.”
The singer Anderson continues to perform live in addition to showcasing her skills on social media.
In a profile published by Our Era Magazine, Anderson and other Season 20 competitors Emyrson Flora and Paige Fish were said to have performed some original music at a Provo, Utah, venue after their time on “American Idol.”
Speaking excitedly about her future intentions, Anderson stated, “I’m extremely happy to really release songs. I am eager to release some of my most beloved songs that I have written to the world.”
